1. Who is responsible for your information

This policy describes personal information used for the ZetJobs customer marketplace. Separate agreements or notices may apply to an employer, franchise partner or another service you use.

The responsible operator's legal name must be added before publication. For privacy questions, use the email at the end of this page.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide can include your name, mobile number, email address, country, account type, job interests, request messages and support communications. We process login credentials to authenticate your account.

Service records can include wallet transactions, payment references, unlock history, contact requests, employer responses, refunds, saved opportunities and referral attribution. Payment providers process payment information under their own notices.

Technical and activity information can include browser/device information, IP-related security records, timestamps, session identifiers, push subscription details, pages viewed and unlock actions. The information collected depends on the features you use and which optional tools are enabled.

3. Where information comes from

Information comes from you, your use of the website, employers responding to requests, payment providers reporting payment status and referral or campaign links. Recruitment representatives should only provide another person's information when authorised and lawful.

Public opportunity content may be supplied by employers or processed through platform tools. If you need information about the source of a particular personal record, contact us.

4. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, show relevant opportunities, send contact requests, reveal accepted contacts, process wallet activity and refunds, provide support and investigate misuse.

We also use relevant records to understand platform activity, attribute referrals and campaigns, and improve content and services. Referral allocation and related financial records may affect partner reporting or commissions.

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, account and transaction processing generally supports providing the requested service; security and fraud prevention may rely on legitimate interests; required financial records may rely on legal obligations; optional marketing, tracking or notifications may rely on consent. The operator must confirm the bases for its actual processing before publication. Creating an account is not blanket consent to all advertising or tracking.

5. Who receives information

An employer receives the contact request and relevant information you submit for that connection. After acceptance, relevant employer contacts are disclosed to the authorised customer. Employers and customers may have their own privacy obligations when they use information outside ZetJobs.

Authorised staff and service providers may process information for hosting, security, payments, email, push notifications, media delivery and AI assistance. Depending on the installed services, these may include Cashfree, TurboSMTP, OneSignal, Cloudinary and the configured AI provider. Only enabled integrations apply.

Referral partners may receive attribution information needed for programme reporting. The operator must confirm which identifiers they can see. Legal authorities or professional advisers may receive information where required by law or necessary to address legal claims.

6. AI and automated workflows

AI tools may process opportunity text, request messages and related content to translate, summarise, classify or check quality. Avoid entering unnecessary personal or sensitive information into free-text fields. External AI processing depends on the provider and configuration used by the operator.

Database workflows may calculate deadlines, refunds, ranking signals and referral assignment automatically. Employer acceptance is a separate step. Contact support if an automated result or translation appears incorrect, or to ask how a decision was made and request review where applicable.

7. Cookies, pixels and similar tools

Essential session and security cookies support login, forms and safe operation. Blocking them may stop those functions from working. This policy page itself does not install tracking tools.

If enabled elsewhere, analytics and advertising tools such as Meta Pixel may receive device identifiers, page activity and conversion events, such as signup or completion of an onboarding step. The exact events depend on the integration. Applicable consent requirements must be met before optional tracking runs.

Use browser settings or the site's available consent controls to manage cookies. A privacy notice does not by itself enable or implement consent controls. Where those controls are required, the operator must provide them separately.

8. Email, push and external channels

Account, payment and contact-request messages help deliver the service. Promotional messages have separate preferences or unsubscribe options. Browser push requires permission and can be disabled in browser settings.

WhatsApp and Telegram channels are external services with their own privacy rules. Following a channel or checking a confirmation box on ZetJobs does not prove that you enabled notifications in the external app. Change notification settings or leave the channel in that app.

9. Processing in other countries

Service providers and employers may process information in countries different from yours. The protections available may differ. Contact us for information about the countries and safeguards that apply to your data.

The operator must document the actual providers, destination countries and any required transfer safeguards. This notice does not claim that a particular legal transfer mechanism is already implemented.

10. How long information is kept

Account information is kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service or resolve related issues. Payment, refund and audit records may be kept longer where required by tax, accounting or other laws. Support and security records are kept according to the need to resolve cases, investigate misuse and protect the service. Information should be deleted or anonymised when these purposes no longer apply.

Deletion may be delayed for records needed to meet legal obligations, address a dispute or prevent fraud. Account closure does not necessarily remove all financial or audit records immediately. Ask support about the records and retention rules applicable to your account.

11. Protecting your information

Access controls and other security measures are used according to the service's actual configuration. No online system is completely secure. Keep your password private and report suspicious access promptly.

Do not send passwords, full card details or unnecessary identity documents to support. Only disclose information needed for the issue you are raising.

12. Your choices and privacy rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, restrict processing or object to processing. You may object to direct marketing and withdraw consent for consent-based processing; withdrawal does not make prior lawful processing unlawful.

Send your request using the privacy contact below. We may need proportionate identity checks to protect your information. Some requests have lawful exceptions, including retention of required financial records. Responses should follow the deadlines required by applicable law.

You can complain to the relevant data-protection authority where applicable, including the authority for the country where you live or work. Contact us if you need help identifying the appropriate authority.

13. Age, required fields and policy updates

ZetJobs accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information. Required account fields support registration; without them, some account services cannot be provided. Optional interests and notification choices may affect personalisation or alerts.

This policy may change as services and processing change. The current date and version appear above. Material changes should be brought to your attention where required. The operator must check that this notice continues to match the live service.
